Breeding options for mare owners

Option 1. Frozen or fresh semen available with same day delivery to all Qantas destinations on Eastern seaboard
Artificial Insemination (AI) is a great option for mares that are too far away to bring to the stud. With a good vet (who specialises in fertility / breeding) this method has very high success rates. Eco and Necesario have successfully impregnated many mares this way. The main advantage is the mare can be inseminated at optimum fertility by monitoring her cycle in the days leading up to ovulation. Also, if the mare is a maiden (hasn't been bred from before), AI can be safer for the mare (and stallion) than live serving.
Eco V frozen semen $800
Eco V fresh semen $1100
Necesario II fresh semen $1500*
*As a special offer for Spring 2016, the first three mares under signed contract to Necesario will only pay $1100 (approved mares only).

Option 2. Live service to approved mares only.
Due to Eco's and Necesario's impeccable manners and being so incredibly easy to handle, serving mares is a task that can be done in hand. This option is probably the cheaper way to achieve a pregnancy in a mare that has a proven breeding history and is healthy internally.

Necesario II live service $1500 plus agistment - please ask to see a contract.

Fertility notes: Sperm from a normal, fertile stallion should have an immediate progressive motility rate of equal to, or greater than, 60%. Eco's motility rate on 24/12/14 was a whopping 84%!

All progeny from Eco V and Necesario II are eligible for registration with the Andalusian Horse Association of Australia (either as a partbred or purebred Andalusian).
In addition, Eco and Necesario are PRE's, approved for breeding, and valorated in the Spanish Stud Book with ANCCE. So foals bred out of PRE mares are eligible for P.R.E. inscription.
Both stallions are approved for breeding with the Australian Criollo Horse and the Pura Raza Peruvian Paso
